Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just getting used to vista here so sorry if this is a stupid question....but everytime i want to install software it asks my permission to do so, do i have to set up a password protected account to get rid of this annoying pop up ?

that is a feature called uac, that will prevent a program making a system change without your permission,

if used correctly it is a medium barrier against most virii and malware

now here is how to disable it...........

start
in the start search box type....
msconfig
press enter
accept the access level request

in msconfig....
click on tools tab
click disable uac
click launch
reboot pc

security center is going to nag you until you re-enable it
