Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Basically I have aprox 180 remote sites, and I need to know when one goes down and the easiest way I can think of letting me know is a simple ping.. but having 180 odd command prompts open at the same time is not practical Ta

ping <ip2>
...

will ping them sequentially one after another in the one cmd window

Copy from a reply I have in the unix forum.

I use Nagios for some real-time alerts. You can setup alerts to email you if certain conditions are met etc. Loads of plugins available but if your talking 5 machines it may not be worth the bother but all the same I find it invaluable for our particular set-up. I've it setup to watch approx 500 windows clients and 10 linux servers. Generates an email if something goes down and is highly configurable.
