Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey guys would any of you know of an application that can ping many computers all in one go?

Basically I have aprox 180 remote sites, and I need to know when one goes down and the easiest way I can think of letting me know is a simple ping.. but having 180 odd command prompts open at the same time is not practical

Copy from a reply I have in the unix forum.

I use Nagios for some real-time alerts. You can setup alerts to email you if certain conditions are met etc. Loads of plugins available but if your talking 5 machines it may not be worth the bother but all the same I find it invaluable for our particular set-up. I've it setup to watch approx 500 windows clients and 10 linux servers. Generates an email if something goes down and is highly configurable.
