Just shows how far removed from their Celtic brethern that our politicians are.

This lady resigned merely for failure to declare donations. What do we have to do to see a head roll in this country ?

Scottish Labour leader resigns over donations

Scottish Labour Party leader Wendy Alexander announced has resigned after failing to declare donations to her leadership campaign.

The embattled leader said she was standing down with “deep regret”.

The announcement comes after the Scottish parliament's standards committee ruled she should be suspended from parliament for one day for failing to declare to donations to her leadership campaign.

Earlier today, Labour MP David Marshall announced he is to resign the Commons, piling further by-election pressure on under-fire British Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

Less to do with differing Celts and more to do with a more general cultural attitude.

Generally a referendum or election, so that the leader will resign to avoid damaging the party. But only in extreme cases of course. They wouldnt just resign out of the blue. And then they wonder why people dont trust politicians.
