Bio-Diesel availability

The cheapest diesel I have found over the last week was 137.8 in urlingford.
I'm sure there's cheaper out there (and I'm supprised that there's no stickied thread anywhere on boards that keeps track of cheap availability)
So, given that I dont like paying such a crazy price, does anyone here know anything about the availability of bio-diesel, and if the cost compares well?

Yes at Tesco. A 3 Liter bottle of vegi oil for e2.99. Use it at your own discretion. Some use it 50/50 others 30/70 Summer you could get away with the latter, You can use a pre heated fuel filter kit and use it neat.

Would this cause any damage to a 96 VW engine? I've heard the older engines have more trouble with straight veg oil.
I dont want to go buying pre-heaters just yet...
But what about transesterified lipid biodiesel? They have it available in alot of filling stations in other european countries, and it can be used neat without pre-heaters. Anyone seen it in Ireland yet?

Very annoying that Lidl upped the price of 1L bottles from 69c to 99c in one swoop.
