Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All,

Just looking for a bit of help, Im flying into Alice Springs in Mid July and I need to get up to Cairns. I have checked flights and it just seems like Quantas do the route and are really expensive:( Has any one got any suggestions?

    Thanks

    Hi Maggie,

I don't know what your budget is but I took the Desert Venturer bus from Cairns to Alice last year and would highly reccomend it.

Relocation car? A rental car that needs to be returned to a certain location.

We did that from Darwin to Cairns. Worked out way cheaper and you can normally find other people wanting a lift who are willing to share costs.

    Hiya,

You could hitch a lift with some other backpackers. Lots of them is Alice, may put up a note in a few of hostels notice boards.

We drove it a couple of years ago on the way back from Uluru, took 3days but one of those days was a 13hour drive, I selpt well that night :pac:

Hope you get something sorted, take care
