internet facilities in waterford very poor

Is it just me or are the internet facilities in waterford city very poor apart from the 2 on the key which are both closed on sunday I cant find any others.I am resorted to using those eircom stands which cost a fortune.There are heaps in cork and galway

Theres a place just by the garage over by the park used to be called cybermart I think its CTC or something like that now. From what I remember the open from 12pm to 10pm, 7 days a week. But they might open as early as 10am. Price is not too bad either and they do a membership aswell which makes it cheaper again.

Tall Tales do it too, but maybe they are closed on Sunday too. Don't many of those "call shops" for cheap international calls do it too?

There's one on O'Connell st. as well, which may be closed on Sunday.

Yeah that is Cybermart/CTC.

That is Chartbusters, they have an internet Cafe there.

There is of course your local library too. You can book 50 min sessions in there.

cybermart by the park is prob the best option
10-10 monday to saturday,12-10 sunday and the last saturday of the month is 24 hour

Well considering im sitting in red square using internet for free I dont think its too bad, theres about 5 unsecure networks here that you can connect to and its perfect speeds for browsing. I dont normally do this just the internet is out at home and I need to book flights.. Was going go to o connell st like I usually do but I brought the laptop into town to see if there was actually any networks and there was!

Some people will probable thing im "stealing" but hey, if your going have a wireless network in the city centre have it secure

i picked one up while parked outside st. johns church parnell st. last week, i presume its from one of the businesses on the other side of the street,

Off the top of my head:

• Voyager Internet Cafe - Reasonable rates, let you use your own laptop, cheap international calls, and the computers still have CD Burners IIRC.
• Cybermart/CTC/Quantum on the Park road. I used to work there a few years back when they still held the lanparties. It can get pretty hot in there though, especially on a warm day.
• "emailinternet" at Chartbusters in Ardkeen. It gets pretty hot on a wet day ironicaly, because they dont open the windows, and the heat from the tanning beds turns the place into a sauna.

The Juicemaster bar provides Free Wifi intentionally, and the signal is strong enough to pick up if your sitting one those seats. Personally I'd be happier to just pay to use a WiFi hotspot and use my laptop, or pop into Voyager if I wanted do anything other than just checking my email or reading the news.
