Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

Just wondering has anyone been to Avoriaz / Morzine?

Looking for some tips on accomodation - where did you stay?
Full or half board or self-catered?
    hotel, apartment or chalet?

Did you book everything through an agency here (e.g. directski, thompsons, crystal, slopeside etc) or did you book flights and accomodation seperately?

From pricing things up it looks like its cheaper to book everything together. Crazily places seem to be booking up for next year already:-o

time to get the skates on:eek:

A bit of info on this earlier thread http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055292584 particularly for boarders.

we thought that last year and booked 2½ months early. We met people in the same hotel that booked the week before they came out .... go figure.

    Thanks for that link!

yeah wouldn't worry if was just going for hotel but wanted a chalet with bit of space - maybe we'll just go to Val D'Isere - seems to be more selection of chalets there!!!! why is the French standard of accomodation so crap???

Friend of mine owns an apartment there, I'm just back from a week holiday there.
He's eager to get the place rented for the next winter season, so give him a shout.

    Here's his current site:

(hope this is ok with the mods.)
