How do I unlock her special ability of reducing my wanted level? I rode her twice and was expecting some kind of message to say the ability was available.

I ask because I'm now on the infamous Three Leaf Clover mission. I want to try and complete it without using her, but will if I get too frustrated.

Try checking your phone, it could already be unlocked. Look under Kiki to see if there is a "Clear wanted level" option.

Be aware though that it does not always work first time and then sometimes it does not work at all. It took three phonecalls from me on the three leaf clover mission before she cleared my level.

Yeah, it's the same way as Carmen has the "Restore Health" thingy. But I notice that ability, it doesn't work during missions.

I don't think you can lower your wanted level during that mission, it's there so you follow the plot points. You don't really need it to beat the mission anyways...
