    Just 're-discovering' Van Morrison after many years of neglect.

    Have seen him loads of time in concert .... anyone know if he is 'gigging' in Ireland this year ?

    Here are my top 5 .... in no particular order:
    1. Wonderful Remark
    2. Tupelo Honey
    3. Sweet Thing
    4. St Dominic's Preview
    5. In The Garden
    What are yours ?

    Van's music is timeless, But I think some albums are better than others.
    I love Avlon Sunset, and The Philosopher's Stone,
    His last one,Keep It Simple , was good, but nothing jumper out at me.
    I still play it though, as it is very good.
    The man has so many sides to his music, it is easy to find a new "Favourite song" Have a listen to the live album "A Night in San Francisco". It is one of the best live albums I have heard.

    Haven't got it ........ still listening to the live album "It's Too Late To Stop Now" on vinyl !!

    Thats mad, i was just listening to Astral weeks. My favorite is "Into the Mystic" - I just love it.

    I didnt think he was gigging anymore??? He is on my list to see, definitely!
