Danish metal always makes me think of the likes of Mnemic, Volbeat, Panzerchrist and Withering Surface. Your pic wasn't from any of their albums .

However A little scouring of the Internet led me to Mercyful Fate - Don't Break The Oath.


I never realised King Diamond / Mercyful Fate were Danish !

True, perhaps Volbeat are more well known than mf these days, completely forgot about them and Mnemic. Never heard of Withering Surface though.

Not sure about that last one, but it does look kinda familiar.

They've been split up since 2005 so I'm not surprised that you haven't heard of them . They were pretty good. Here's one of their songs:
