Really loved this album when it came out, the band played a blinding gig in the Tivoli in support of it:

That artwork style reminds me of The Blackening by Machine Head but I know it's not that album. I shall have to keep looking!

It was a cheeky one to be honest . GhostInTheRuins is correct with Oceanborn. It is the older version of the album cover. Prior to 2004 Nightwish were signed to the German record label Drakkar Records. After they signed to Spinefarm for whatever reason the cover of Oceanborn was changed to the more familiar one.

Ah now, I can't really take much credit . A few minutes searching on the Internet produced a list of potential bands and their albums once I had the genre and nationality.

If it was going to take longer than 5 minutes I'd hope someone more knowledgeable would get it.
