Well, sniff out the following link folks!

    http://www.nra.ie/mapping/index.jsp

    ...and select the tender status!

    Regards! ;)

    Update!

Went to eTenders and found nothing on the N18 after Sponge Bob had looked there, but...

...I did find what looks like a 'design and build' tender for the N11 Rathnew to Arklow!

    Regards!

    Yes!

You obviously haven't been looking at the NRA site too often mate! Both N18 Galway schemes have only been shown under "Preliminary Design" up to today - in fact, there was nothing listed under "Tender" for months. With the current economic backdrop, this IMO is quite significant. I recently heard that the N11 Rathnew to Arklow is progressing to tender this year, and I guess one can expect smaller, but more critical schemes such as the N7 Newlands Cross Upgrade and N25 Bandon/Sarsfield Road Interchanges to proceed to tender soon.

The Government's continual commitment to capital projects has been quoted in today's papers - we'll know on Wednesday where they actually stand. They clearly said though on RTE, that they don't want to make the mistakes of the 1980's and largely abandon infrastructural investment. I hope this bodes well for the Interconnector and LUAS rail projects in Dublin.

With all the guesswork regarding the N18 HQDC schemes, there is hoping!

    Regards!
