I checked your team today and I'm almost certain you have a friendly lined up, maybe I'm wrong but if you have one to play its the last one before the new season. There is only time for one more afaik.

2-0 win over Eagle Eye in the last friendly before new season. New striker managed to bag a goal 14 minutes into his debut

Presume the friendlies are just a reason to test out new players and get fitness levels up? They don't exactly contribute much towards match experience, 1 or 2%!

Well I was trying out new tactics and gave every player a run during the two friendlies, think them tactics don't suit my team.
They can affect the form or your players in a good or bad way. I think they are worth it if you have younger players in your squad. You can get their form up in these games, but some people think its not a good idea to play them. For instance one of my players picked up a yellow card today and thats not good as it carries on afaik.

Fairly sickening 2-2 draw to start the new season. Much better team on paper, expected a hell of a lot more out of the players, all on great form but for some reason my keeper/defense had an absolute shocker. Had one of my players who was on 19 form play to a TWO skill! And my new striker got himself sent off... yippee

Nice 2-0 win to start off the new season. Top of the division after the first game. I am hoping to get promoted back to the premier division this season. I've been holding on to a player who had terrible form for two seasons maybe he will work out this season.

Eugh, I knew this would happen. So I kinda forgot the season was starting til after 1 this afternoon, I kinda forgot I didnt have my newly bought keeper in the reserves, and I kinda hadn't my wits about me so I thought, it'll be grand what the chances the keeper will get injured, I fix that up next time round.

Keeper gets injured, replaced by 22yo striker. 1-1 draw at home, coulda been worse.

So your excuse for not beating the mighty Clondalkin Athletic (who have been promoted every season thus far) is that you had to replace your 8- skilled starting goalkeeper with a 7-skilled one?

That is weak, man. Really weak.

Why don't you set your team up for the next game when you log on to check a result. And you can also have set tactics saved so at least you have your own team tactics for every game even if you forget to log on.

Guessed his formation + playmaker, dominated possession and chances, and team performed better overall. Would have liked to bang in a few more goals but a wins a win. It was an away match and Xavi has a decent squad.

Next up is my bogey team, Rolly United. Looking forward to going down to the usual 1-0 last minute defeat

3rd game, 3rd loss. 2-0. While soundly beaten by Gettouttathegarden tactically last week, the other 2 games have seen me be outplayed despite having guessed the other teams tactics. Hopefully a win against the bottom team can kickstart my season.

FINALLY beat Rolly...

After numerous games losing to him with late goals, I finally got a much deserved win.

Dominated possesion and had slightly more chances, with my new signing banging in both goals. He's a free kick specialist with both goals coming from his free kicks

Next up is a huge game vs joint league leaders Sh*tzengiggles FC
