Im pretty happy with my team now, particularly my starting 11. Just brought in some experience and steel in a 30 and 34 year old midfielders at 6skill rating. Have 2 other 6rated mids in early/mid 20s so hopfully its a good balance. All but 2 of the starters are at least 6skill rated, though my two strikers seem like tossers, ones a big mouth and the others a diva. Would't mind selling one and looking for a striker with goal instincts.

The first ever Boards.ie Xpert 11 League kicks off tomorrow. With 8 Divisions of 8 teams and a 3up/3down promotion and relegation structure, every game is vital.

Kick off time is 13:30 GMT and there should be plenty of banter on boards tomorrow.

There is time up till kick off to do the pools (click Xpert pools on the left hand toolbar). The bet cost is 200 000 econ, and prizepool currently stands at 5 million econ. If everyone does the pools the total prize pool will be almost 13million! After this week, the pools will cost a mere 50 000 econ to play.

Nice start to the season, a 4-2 win (was 4-1 up) but one of my defenders picked up a light injury and one of my better midfielders got sent off too. Could be in a bit of trouble for the next game. Still, 1 game gone, top of the league

Rubbish, beaten 1-0 even though according to the stats my team were better over the 90 minutes and had more shots at goal. And the other team I expected to win in my division were also beaten.

Shelbourne's groundsman had decided to relay the turf over the weekend. As he dug down he unearthed some buried treasure for which the local museum is grateful. This earns your club 1 233 500 econ which goes towards a new training centre.

- Top goalscorer
- Most Assists
- Player of the season
- Most number of appearances in the X11 team of the week

There is a rather funky trophy for the premier league winners alright. For us lowlife down in the lower divisions we can but dream of the day we get our hands on the trophy

I didnt bother with a knockout cup competition, cause otherwise we'd only get one league game a week, with the other day for cup games, considering how many would be out of the cup after just 2 weeks, it would make the whole thing very slow.

This way the season is over in 8 weeks, we have about 2 weeks pre-season before starting again. Great fun, you'll be in the premier division by the end of 2009 GuanYin
