    Also shocked and saddened. I only saw it yesterday and thought I must be reading it wrong.

    He was wonderful as General Hammond and I loved the reality clips of him on the dvds. Sounded like a great man.

    Rest in peace and condolences to his family and friends.

    What was the name of the episode where Hammond kicked some ass by going through the Stargate in a Death-Gate-Glider? And he went all yeehaw, and T'ealc smiled i think.
