Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

Is a timber frame build limited by spans on a 2 storey build.
Bascially is there a maximum span that you can have if you are going timberframe?
    If yes, what is it.

    Thanks,

    Mike.

Like everything economics would be one of the limiting factors of timber frame spans, as the span increases the timber section size do too, adding to the cost. Clear spans in excessive of 5.0m, would start adding additional costs to the timber frame structure.
