Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have an Arts degree and would like to work as a substitute teacher. Does anyone have any general guidelines on what you should say in your letter of application?

I just want to get it right cause I'm going to apply to loads of schools. Thx

Mine basically went along the lines of stating that I'd just finished my degree, was beginning a postgrad course in teaching in Aug 2008 and that any teaching positions that might arise in their school would give me much valued experience. I told them I was dedicated to a career in Education and would thrive on the responsibility and opportunity to develop teaching skills that I could carry throughout my career. They basically will get you to sub teach if they think you will give it your best shot and its something you want to do and you're not just in it for the money. If you can provide a reference its good but not neccessary.
