Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, I have been searching Google for an answer to this but can't find one.

    Could anyone tell me:

    1. What is the record domestic transfer fee for a player between Irish clubs ?

    2. What is the record tranfer fee for a player moving to an Irish club from abroad?

    3. What is the record fee for a player moving abroad from an Irish club?

    4. What is the record fee paid between any two clubs for an Irish player?

    That's a really tough one.

Hey, I've had an idea, and may God strike me down for doing this.

    Have you tried www.foot.ie ?

Ask the questions over there and you'd be guaranteed some anorak has the answers written down on a beermat.

Odds on a UCD fan will have all the answers.

Would guess the answer to Q2 is either from Derry or a IL side.

I believe that's still Damien Duff going from Blackburn to Chelsea for £17m. I don't think that's been topped yet.

Ah yeah, I'd say that's definitely it.

Was that the price he went for?

Foot.ie is a pretty good site.

    No it isn't.

It's run by a bunch of Cork-centric twats who can't take fair criticism.

The Ireland sub section is very good.

I don't post in the EL section that much, but when I do it seems fine, but I haven't posted enough there to experience what you've experienced Des.

The days of unmoderated forums is long gone though.

Could you imagine the carnage in here without mods?:eek::eek::eek:

Mental, its bad enough with mods as your sig shows but I think spam would be a bigger problem than people laying into each other.
