Koh; Italian quarters right across from the spar
    Morgan hotel; temple bar
    Market bar; off George's st

Actually most of this places are bars...

You know what, why don't you meet her in town and then decide where to go to together...

Depends if you want a quiet spot with a bit of activity around or just a really quiet spot.
A Wed night, with no matches on should mean all pubs will be kinda quiet.
But i found best place even on a busy enough midweek night for a chat was the Vat Bar, just off Temple Bar (think its part of blooms hotel)

A favourite of mine would be Bailey's bar just off grafton st. I reckon it's ideal for a first date

The Baggot Inn, really nice and cosy. You can pull your own pints at a table near the bar. Go to the back up the stairs, very nice and welcoming.

Is that Porter house in Glasnevin/Bray?

They also have the biggest pub in London in Covent Garden. OP your age and music preference usually play a difference in pub choices. If you're going for quiet pints and want to chat then Peter's Pub is good if it's not too crowded, walk down the side of St Stephen's Shopping Centre (south king street) past the Gaiety to the end of the street and turn right. It's on the right then before Cafe mocha. Older crowd - 26+ on average, nice bar staff
