I got a really good one on Camden/Wexford St. before just down from The Village, although my favourite is still the Hamburger Bar in Kilbarrack.

Really good grub. Sopranos on the other side of Kilbarrack is pretty good too.

I've had a few locals in my car that claim burdocks have gone downhill lately. I always found it was best eaten straight away, one time I took it home to find both the fish and chips had coagulated in the bag, in other words, turned into a mess of grease, not nice.

    Just a bit of trivia..

Not many people know this.... But it was the Jewish community who introduced the Irish and British to the humble 'Fish and Chip', and not the Italians as many would believe!.

Hamburger Bar is a top spot indeed. Use to be mad about Sopranos until a few weeks back when I got some chicken. It was pink right the way through and nothing that I've seen before. Has put me off the place for good now....

Just to add onto Burdocks on Werburg St has gone downhill in recent months.

He sold up, it was the only chipper I was ever in that actually dressed a normal bunburger like they do a 1/4 pounder, and their chips were lovely.

Used to be before the staff started ripping people off, taking money off drunk people and denying they had been given it or charging double the price. Refuse to go there anymore.
