    best one is: www.educationposts.ie

    also try www.staffroom.ie www.eteach.ie

There is plenty of work out there - shortage of qualified teachers at present

And if there wasn't jobs out there you wouldn't do the postgrad?!
Please do me a favour and go into teaching because you've a ghrá/passion for it..not because there are jobs there.

Yeah an interest/passion in teaching is needed - but what's the in being an incredibly passionate unemployed teacher? No harm in looking at employment opportunities before embarking into any field.

Well, I'm also about to move into the teaching profession after several years in IT where I get a decent salary.

Yes, teaching is somethig I've wanted to do for a long time & I really want to do it, & have said passion etc, but I also have 2 mortgages!!!

I would be crazy to 'follow my dream' if I was to be left unemployed & not able to pay the bills!!!

So, the Op has every right to ask this question!
