Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

Would a careless driving conviction going back 4 years constitute a 'criminal' conviction? I know in some countries it isnt considered a criminal conviction, but i'm not sure about ireland? The offence was speeding, no disqualification & a 750 euro fine.

    Thanks for any info.

Speeding and careless driving are two separate offences. You would have been convicted of one or the other.

As far as I know traffic convictions are not taken into consideration for a new employment except maybe if you going for a job as a driver

The offence was 99mph in a 60mph zone, so it was deemed more serious than a speeding charge, and i was convicted of careless driving in court. Just unsure of whether that constitutes a 'criminal' conviction.

    Yes.

There is no other type of conviction, only criminal convictions.
