Hi im looking at bringing in a 2003 2.7 Boxster from the UK
the current tax on a 2.7 is circa 1100
i googled the C02 on a boxster and it came back with 220
putting it in 1000 a year bracket in the new tax
the vtr online site is comming back with 245 Co2

Because the car is 2003 it will fit in the current CC based system for yearly road tax.
The CO2 system will only be used to calculate your VRT rate when you register the car that is all.

As for the CO2 Emissions, whatever is stated on the V5 form is what they will use when you go to the VRO.

Yeah it will stay in current CC motor tax system as it is a pre 2008 Car. The VRT will be payed as per your emissions band.

I dont think that figure is correct - you should check out www.parkers.co.uk for pretty accurate c02 rates on cars.
