Threads missing from forums

When I look through some forums, I noticed that the number of displayed threads in the forum is less than what is said in the forum info. Why is this? Can I see the missing threads?

Threads were probably deleted by the mods of that forum and only remain visible to them, Smods, Cmods and Admins.
