    Ok, it's stupid question time.
    I have an account with register 365 who can install joomla 1.0 for you if you want it. However everyone is using 1.5 now, so I want to install that myself.

    My hosting account is on linux but my PC is windows. I am just wondering could I download the Joomla 1.5 .tar linux version onto my windows PC and then FTP it up onto my hosting account?
