Whelan's this Sunday - Escape Act and Tom McShane

    hey all,

    two bands from Belfast will be hitting Dublin this weekend to promote their new independent 7" and digital single release. Escape Act and Tom McShane will be playing Whelan's on Sunday evening, supported by Mumblin' Deaf Ro.

    what the Irish News says about Escape Act's rawkous indie erm rock: "If God spoke like this, more people would listen; in a word, heavenly."

    and about Tom McShane "The music of Tom McShane is at once captivating and heartbreaking. His are tender tunes plucked straight from a broken and patched up heart, performed with rare poise and passion."

    both bands will also play Tower Records tomorrow (friday) afternoon, so please come along if you are in town!

    their split 7" is released by San Francisco indie label Penny Distribution, and copies will be on sale at the shows. both bands also play Cork and Limerick next weekend, so please come along!
