No less than seven of our Barclays Premier League games have been allocated for live television coverage during the first half of the 2008/09 season.

These include London derbies with Arsenal and Chelsea, as well as games against Liverpool and Aston Villa.

Our trip to Stamford Bridge will be our first Sky television appearance of the campaign and will now be a 1.30pm kick-off on Sunday August 31.

This is followed by our home game with Villa, which like last season's memorable 4-4 draw, will be moved to a Monday night for Setanta coverage on September 15.

The first North London derby of the season, at the Emirates Stadium, will be shown live on Sky at 8pm on Wednesday October 29, while our clash with Liverpool at The Lane will be covered by Setanta at 5.30pm that Saturday.

Our trips to Portsmouth and Stoke City, as well as our home game with Blackburn Rovers, have also been selected for live coverage.

And before the league campaign even kicks off, you will be able to see our pre-season friendly with Norwich on Monday July 28 live on Setanta, with matches against Celtic and Borussia Dortmund in the Feyenoord Jubileum Tournament both live on Sky in early August.

Here are the televised Premier League games in full...

Chelsea (a), Sunday August 31 (from August 30), 1.30pm, Sky Sports.
Aston Villa (h), Monday September 15 (from September 13), 8pm, Setanta Sports.
Portsmouth (a), Sunday September 28 (from September 27), 1.30pm, Sky Sports.
Stoke City (a), Sunday October 19 (from October 18), 4pm, Sky Sports
Arsenal (a), Wednesday October 29 (from October 28), 8pm, Sky Sports
Liverpool (h), Saturday November 1, 5.30pm, Setanta Sports
Blackburn Rovers (h), Sunday November 23 (from November 22), 1.30pm, Sky Sports

    Plus the pre-season friendlies...

Norwich City (a), Monday July 28, 7.45pm, Setanta Sports.
Celtic (n), Friday August 1, 6.30pm, Sky Sports.
Borussia Dortmund (n), Sunday August 3, 5.45pm, Sky Sports.

    Other changes

Please note that our home Premier League games with Wigan Athletic and Hull City have now been moved to Sunday September 21 and Sunday October 5 respectively due to our involvement in this season's UEFA Cup.

Anyone thinking of a day trip from Dublin to the Liver pool home game, with that kick off time you'll struggle to make a return flight, with your only real option being Ryanair out of Gatwick at 21:15. Very tight.

22.15 to Cork Ronan!! The real capital has last flight out of LHR terminal 1 every day.

Dont think i'll bother though - becoming disillusioned!!
