Going to do the Enniscorthy to Cork ride on saturday. Weather not great but north east wind should ensure a tail wind for 100+miles!

I also am not going. This excessive show of road cycling is displeasing. All the more so because I do not have a road bike. More boards.ie mountain biking please.

Why??? What's going on??? Why am I the last to know????

Feeling a bit chesty anyway. Going to spend tomorrow in bed watching DVD's.

Enjoy that one and welcome to boards! I was looking forward to doing that one myself until I found out it was on the same day as the ROK, I don't know why so many things have to happen on exactly the same day (the Sean Kelly Tour, Lap the Lough and Dublin Triathlon are all on the same day too.)

Caroline- you will probably feel better with your choice when half of us slide off the road into the sea and the other half limp back to Dublin with double-pneumonia.

I'm not either but i am going to Galway to play at a music festival so its not a bad consolation. I'd be in Kerry otherwise

I plan to spend my Saturday grovelling to a proper bike mechanic while he/she fixes that bottom bracket I wrecked a while ago.
