Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thanks Von Neumann. Slowly getting back into it.

Was a lovely sunny morning when I opened the curtains today, so couldn't resist a quick run.

Down to Phoenix Park for a easy 6 miler. Lots of people out running, I presume on their taper for the DCM.

Think that make distance to date 146.5 miles.

Another 3.5 miles tonight. Brings total to 150.

Felt terrible tonight. Legs heavy. Was breathing hard, partially to do with a head cold, but just lacked energy. Six weeks ago, I was running 12 miles on a Tuesday night, and feeling great... what a bit of a break will do! Anyway, head down and get back to where I was.

Another 5 this evening in Phoenix Park. Wasn't feeling briliant, and managed to tweak a calf AGAIN!!! This time it was the other one... Wasn't too bad. Turned around immediately, and was careful to take it easy.

Anyway, we'll see how it goes over the next few days.

Been a while since I updated here... as I was reminded today (tks Woddle)!

Added another 40 miles since the last update... training been going better in the past two weeks, and the calf twinges seem to have gone away.

Brings total to 198.5 so far. Planning a weekly milage of over 20 per week for the next few weeks, so should start making a dent in the total...

9.2 miles added today. All hills. Started Sutton Strand, over Howth Hill down to Howth Village and back. A bit of off road thrown in for good measure, up to top of hill.

    Fairly slow time, 83 mins.

    Total to date 207.7

Cheers christeb... Actually really enjoyed that run very much, but the legs fairly felt it on Monday.

Was travelling with work Mon/Tues, so tonight was the first time to hit the road again. Ran from office to home (6 mi) with moderately heavy bag. Time of 48 mins.

    Total to date is 213.7.
