I was about to buy a Dell Vostro 1000 (E-Value N0710003) - which gives Vista Basic, 1gig RAM, 80gig HD, Sempron 3600, integrated graphics, DVD-RW for €330 inc. VAT & Delivery. But I'd feel a bit foolish if for relatively little more I could get something with much more…

I'm not looking for something that can handle Crysis - but what's the best package in this price range? Bonus marks if it can be downgraded to XP.
