Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

police car sirens

    does anyone know how to operate the sirens on gta4, in game it always tells me to press l1 when trying to stop a van but all that happens is that i fire a shot out the window instead. what in hell am i doing wrong:confused:

    Press down on the left joystick. Press and release for siren.
    Press and hold for wierd beepy noise.
    Xbox 360.

    it's either L3 or R3 (press down the analogue stick)

    isnt there a list of controls on the pause menu like for the X-box?
    Are you pressing the button that normally controls the car-horn, that should do it?

    Yeah, you have to press L3. Same button you use for the horn.

    Better late then never to post a reply, but its summertime!

    In the top corner the message is telling you how to access the police computer by pressing L1 when stopped!
    You must have figured this out by now, just thought id say!
