    Fraud alert ftw.

Still can't belive there's only 1 and 1/2 cinemas left in Co. Wicklow. The one in Arklow and the mermaid in Bray (only shows films once a week, proper arty stuff)

I heard the fire engine going into Bray during lunch time. But I don't know if it's because of the cinema or something else.

First thing I thought of when I seen the title.
Perhaps the Casino idea was not being well recieved.

A vacant cinema complex in Bray, Co Wicklow was damaged after it caught fire this afternoon.

The fire broke out on the roof of the building at about 1pm.

Gardaí said the fire was accidental and are not treating it as suspicious. No one was injured.

Fire fighters from Bray and Greystones quickly brought the fire under control.

The Bray Cineplex on Quinnsborough Road shut down last year.

Construction work on the facade of the building had begun recently.

Was chatting to one of the FS lads later. Workers were re-felting a roof and he put his blow torch down without turning it off or something and it set the roof on fire.

Saw it from the Head with my binoculars and Insurance scam was the first thing I thought of too :D Looks like that wasn't the case however.

Where are you going with your idiotic "LOL"? The Bray Cinema was a class act in my opinion. I absolutely loved the place, the red carpets, stippled ceilings etc. Give me that cinema any day over the mundane "multiplexes" of Dundrum and beyond. The state of you.

I don't think you'd be laughing if it was your own business that went up in flames.
