Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

ah f**k i was for the first time in about 4 years mounting a serious title challenge, is there anyway of me undoing it, maybe a snotty email to the fantasy football gods

    Oh wow- ouch.

But in fairness it does say before you hit the confirm button how many points it will deduct.

    19 points so far :(

I have L Young (6) and Andrews (3) coming off the bench, and Anelka, Bosingwa and Lampard to play tonight . Will hopefully break 40

I must have been drunker than I thought on Friday night because at some point between stumbling in at 4am and going to sleep I made Ireland my captain

    Anelka off at half time.

Well Ireland didn't seem the worst candidate on paper since when West Brom do badly, they do very badly.

55 points this week which was not too bad, I brought Matty Taylor in for darren fletcher and that worked a treat, however I took the captaincy away from Van Persie as I had lost patience with him.

Hoping Fellaini gets bonus points, Cech is a cert for them unfortunatly.

bastards, everyone has cech and lescott, I'm surprised lampard didn't get anything

    Anyway my team for friday:

    Schwarzer

    Ferdinand
    Vidic
    Corluka
    Kompany
    Bosingwa

    Young
    Arteta (c)
    Alonso

    Van Persie
    Crouch

    Myhill, Fellaini, Matty Taylor, Agbonlahor

Tricky gameweek ahead with Villa and Arsenal at it.

55 points for the week with one player not playing so not too bad, Barmby was a good sub for the week.
Unfortunately looks like Laursen might miss next game but will Ronnie back.

32 points, a poor week, Cissé is replacing Johnson both in my team and as captain.

The question on everyones mind at work this morning...is it time to offload Anelka? Was thinking of bringing in Cisse instead which would free up some much needed money.

    Possibly... the choice is YOURS!!

Drogba done laright last night when he came on I thought, he brings a different dimension to the Chelsea attack thats for sure!

    Hmmmmmmmmmmm,

Ronaldo is down to 23% selected. I was having a quick look and though I dropped three places in Boards down to 7th only two people above me have him. Considering he has not one but two double games weeks I think that I have a decent chance in the turn into the new year being there-abouts at this stage.

The last two weeks were dire but the saving grace was that EVERYONE had a useless week this week and consolidating will do me just fine coming into the christmas season.

I was considering downgrading Reina for Turnbull and upgrading Ireland for Young but a few things stopped me, Villa have Arsenal and I think Arsenal will beat them. Laursen being out for this game would be a bonus tbh, can't see him picking up anything and a return 4 days later against Hull should see him pick up a clean sheet.

The second consideration is Man City are playing Hull on friday- a fixture that saw Ireland bag two and Giovanni one and the bonus points in the start of the season.

The last one, though I agree with the rotating keeper policy but am a bit lazy to effect is is that the same week Fulham play United, Middlesborough and Turnbull have Chelsea. There'll be no mercy there. by the time the Villa Hull game rolls aroung Youngs value will not allow this move and tbh It 's not worth a 8 point hit.

The thing I think about this game is patience. People chase the form players, which is well and good but you can cut your throat on transfer deductions. I only had 9 players this week refusing to take a transfer hit and still managed to be up there in my league and win my head to head. I've held on to Zaki for the double game-week coming and on value alone. Camara has come in this week as back up and with a view to that Wigan double game week too.

I sincerly hope Lampard will come good sooner rather than later but Ballack seem to cancel him out as they are like for like and neither seem to perform in each others shadow.

    My team:

    1.Reina

    2.Bosingwa
    3: Carragher
    4: Vidic
    5: Laursen
    6: Cole A

    7: Ronaldo(C)
    8: Ireland
    9: Geovanni
    10: Lampard

    11: Zaki

    Subs:
    12: Schwarzer
    Goalkeeper
    13: Moore
    Forward
    14: Camara
    Forward
    15: Marney
    Midfielder

Wow the cutoff point for the cup must have been low. I made it in with 35 points

I have a tough 1st round opponent, he has 969 points and a good team for the matches on friday so it's looking like a first round exit for me.

zaki out for the rest of the winter. Zamora is the new Z-man for the hurricanes, whch means I can strengthen my defence next week.

    1: Reina 79 2 3.2 Bolton (H)
    2: Laursen 84 8 5.2 Arsenal (H)
    3: Bosingwa 110 6 5.8 West Brom (H)
    4: Hangeland 72 6 5 Tottenham (A)
    5: Turner 64 - 1.2 Man City (A)

    6: Lampard 107 2 3.2 West Brom (H)
    7: Ronaldo (C) 94 - 3 Stoke City (A)
    8: Ireland 83 2 1.5 Hull City (H)
    9: Geovanni 82 2 3.5 Man City (A)

    10: Defoe 81 1 2.5 West Ham (H)
    11: Cisse 67 7 4.6 Blackburn (H)

    12: Myhill 54 1 2.8 Man City (A)
    13: Zamora 49 8 3.8 Tottenham (A)
    14: O'Brien A 49 5 1.5 Liverpool (A)
    15: Hamann 17 - 0.8 Hull City (H)

2.2 spare cash. It says Laursen is doubtful with a knee injury. Think he'll play?

Ronaldo transfered back in. Took the risk and put Anelka as captain. West Brom should ship goals away from home.

It's more than likely Ryan Taylor(Wigan), as Matt is classed as a midfielder,Charlie.:)

Nah, players need to play for 60 minutes or more to get clean sheet bonus.

Davies and Stiensson will come in for them. Here's hoping Bolton do something aginst Liverpool (and I'm aware they're one down already:(....)
