Also, what do people think of bringing in W Bridge? Man City have some good fixtures coming up (inc. a double gameweek) and he is at a good price (5.0m).

No, whoever you have listed as your first sub with your team maintaining a legal formation.

No they come in as per the order of which you have placed them in. The only stipulation is that the team formation stays within the rules laid down in the game.

the first sub in your lineup who plays will, unless that would leave you with less than 3 defenders

If you first sub is a defender yes but if you have a midfielder or foward as first sub then they would go in providing the formation was still valid.
