Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well that missed peno for West Ham means no assist for Cole

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,284 ✭✭✭pwd

neither given or myhill playing. No keeper for my team then. I imagine they'll concede a lot of goals so.

Cole has assist and goal now.

Carlton Cole you hero! Goal, assist and wins a peno!

Robinho assist, Cahill goal and Bosingwa clean sheet will do nicely.

winning a peno get 0 points in FF though Xavi, unless its scored.

He should get the 3 points though. And yep what a legend. I bought him back in as soon as he came back from injury and he hastn stopped scoring since :)

    Serious? Ah well

The lad has been super over the last 2 months. FF bargain of the season.

    I'm into the 70's there.

Here's hoping lamps gets the bonus points.

  • Registered Users Posts: 805 ✭✭✭Mmcd

Is there a boards league for "I know the score"?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

I've wound up with 67 points. Happy enough and particularly pleased with my decision to sell Crouch for Bellamy.

Hull flattened me though. 3 players from the team and they each only got a point. I've had enough of Geovanni. I think his bubble has well and truly burst. So long.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,595 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

    80 points in total.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,224 ✭✭✭✭SantryRed

Can't get into my team as it's updating but if Wigan and Arsenal hadn't of gotten late goals I would of been 8 points better off.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,224 ✭✭✭✭SantryRed

61 points. Them two late goals actually cost me 14 points! :(

    DEF--L.YOUNG
    DEF--BOSWINGA(last chance saloon)
    DEF--R.TAYLOR

    MID--LAMPARD (C)
    MID--S. IRELAND
    MID--D.MURPHY

    CF--K.DAVIES
    CF--BELLAMY
    CF--RVP

71 , a bit sick they way it turned out in the end
My 3 strikers score and not a sniff of a bonus point between them, that coupled with the lamps/ronaldo captain wrong decision ends in an annoying week,

But looking around a few tables it could have been worse, anyone who kept there fait in gerrard/ torres / reina / carra got taken down to chinatown

42 points, not having any United players killed me, but I'm sticking to my principles.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,909 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

77 thanks to Cahill, C. Cole and Ronny mainly.

Assists for Baines and Robinho helped too.

  • Site Banned Posts: 26,456 ✭✭✭✭Nuri Sahin

Just looking at the scores, I've done poorly. But I pressume most you are Ronaldo FF Captain Fan Boys.

    59 and 57 respectively.

Might have to look elsewhere for a captain instead of Gerrard.

    Disappointing 49 points.

Baines, Berbatov, Diaby and Green only players of note...

Through to round 6 of the cup the last 32,000 or so. Who else is still in?

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 15,237 Mod ✭✭✭✭FutureGuy

A decent 71 points. C. Cole and RVP doing well up front combined with a decent showing from Lampard. Arteta and Ireland let me down but will stay for now.

With Evra possibly back on Saturday and Hyppia out of favour, I'll have to make a few changes in defense.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,727 ✭✭✭✭Sherifu

Happy enough with the 63. Keep it ticking over.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,798 ✭✭✭Mr. Incognito

    75. Lampard as captain was unwise in hindsight. Liverpool and Everton conceeding late cost me 18 points which was a hard one.

Ronaldo, Vidic, Clean sheets from Bosingwa and A. Cole and C. Cole did the business.

I dropped out of the Cup in GW22 :(

It's so random though. You could be playing a blinder for ages and then the one week you have a bad week you're up against someone that's been sh1t all year and happens to have one of those mad weeks where the the likes of Bramble & McShane bag a couple and keep a clean sheet!

Spurs are waitng on the scans to come back before officially announcing it.Although it is reckoned he will be out for the rest of the season.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,284 ✭✭✭pwd

They probably want to get confirmation before they do so they don't risk losing credibility. NOTW doesn't have credibility to lose really.

I like "A Spurs source said..." in their article. Someone giving their opinion on a spurs internet forum could be considered "a spurs source".

RVP in for The Elk for me.

Belamy in for the injured Defoe for me. Assuming he stays injury free, could prove to be a bargain at 6.6.
