Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've got him as well. If he can't do anything against West Brom, he's for the scrap heap.

    Gone for:

    Schwarzer (C)

    Hangeland Carragher Hughes Boswinga Baines

    Lampard Ronaldo Ireland Cahill

    Van Persie

Subs: Duke, Taylor (Bolton), Cole, Sibide

This should work assuming the Fulham lads don't let in any goals in at least one of their games....

I'd get rid of carra and stick in Ferdinand or Evra. Not having a united defender is criminal.

did nt make any changes till i seen the line ups, thank god, got to sell out RVP and bought in drogba

Had a great plan for subs, all went out the window when I saw RVP was going to be benched at 7:27 pm.

Rooney and Beattie in for RVP and Bellamy. I was going to bring in a Man United defender but with so many upcoming games for them, they could be rotated.

I have Bosingwa... According to BBC he got the assist for the Drogba goal.. It isn't showing up as an assist in fantasy football site.

    Anyone see the game?
Drogba struck a crisp shot low into the bottom corner of the net from a Jose Bosingwa cross with 12 minutes to go.

never mind.... just saw this... hit off sol campbell... :(
Jose Bosingwa's cross eluded the swinging right-foot of Ballack and ricocheted off Sol Campbell before falling at the feet of the Ivorian striker who placed a crisp, composed side-foot into the bottom left-hand corner.

Apparantly it was flicked onto drogba from bosingwa's cross

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,570 ✭✭✭✭Frisbee

Alright lads who had Bendtner? :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,798 ✭✭✭Mr. Incognito

    Not very many.

16 from three, lamps, bosingwa and carra.

schwartzer keeps a cleanie and Ronaldo limited to an assist I'll be happy- up to 5th in boards- keep em climbing!

I only had Bosingwa playing. He got me 6 points. Seems like Cech played a blinder and naturally I subbed him out. I've made Schwarzer my captain so I fear this will blow up in my face. :pac:

A very predictable 10 from Lampard and Bosingwa. A mate of mine is 40 ahead and now has all my midfielders so I'm hoping my strike force of Rooney and Beattie get some points tonight.

11 points from Gerrard and Lampard.

Given that a whopping 40% of all teams have Schwarzer in them and the fact that Fulham have a double-game week combined with his recent good form, there is a good chance that Schwarzer is probably the most captained player in the game ever in actual absolute numbers.

The odds on him picking up 4 points basic (8 points total) have to be considered - Just for the record I too have Schwarzer as my captain, but in my case I bought him at the start of the season :) - Clearly he has been my buy of the season so far.

I have him as captain but...

Looking at my leagues, and given the facts that everyone has Schwarzer as captain and I have no fulham defenders, I'm hoping that he actually concedes in both games, but picks up some bonus points along the way! Really don't care about my overall position, only the gap between myself and a mate! It's 40 at the moment but he has 2 Fulham defenders :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,798 ✭✭✭Mr. Incognito

It depends on the Hull line up- if as expected Phil Brown lays down his author-tie! (Cartman flashback) and benches Giovanni I'd expect Fulham to keep a clean sheet at home. Added to which is see thier captain Ashbee may have picked up a calf strain.

Blackburn are on a run so it's 50-50 there.

Can see Fulham conceding least 1 in both games now seeing as so many people have Schwarzer as captain (myself included).

Gerrard got 7 points for me so far anyways, need Rooney to do well tonight really.

Have had Schwarzer since the start of the season too, although mainly utilised as a second choice before Christmas. Decided to save a bit of money recently by having him and Jussi as 2 solid interchangable cheap keepers.

Me too, though I've still yet to get rid of Given. Always something more pressing to do!

Fulham have two home games- one one team has beaten them at home all season- yes folks- the mighty west ham.

    How's that for a stat.

I had the gimp from elation with the early goal to abject misery.

Still- I have Ireland for next week, and Beattie has already banged one in for me :D

Should have at least switched keane in. Luck of the game unforunately.

I'd play Gabby ahead of Ireland. I know Man City are home but Villa's away record is actually better than their home record this season and Man city are without -Elano, Robinho and Bellamy. Can't see Man City holding them or posing any attacking threat.

EDIT- Elano's in Richards may be out.

Thanks for that advice.I shouldn't have listened to it.
