    First Men in the Moon, this is one of the best HG Wells adaptions and certainly the most entertaingly colourful. With zippy script and plenty of action and some great sets.

    Robinson Crusoe on Mars

    I could be wrong but if I remember right this was thr very first feature film shown on RTE2 in November 1978 on a saturday teatime. Its sounds cheesy but its worth catching, the visuals are pretty good for the time

    I can't belive I made a point of catching this on TCM a couple if years back, its nowhere near as good as this trailer suggests! The theme song is pretty groovy.
