Clontarf. Has everything you need and not really any problem with knackers.

Darndale cuz ya have a 24 hour tescos and if ya want some posh nosh sure the Hilton is a short stroal away. Half way between Malahide and the docklands, a short cycle away from Portmarnock too.

5 Mins from the Airport aswell, so as i see it Darndale is the Foxrock of the Northside.

Clonskeagh, the Vergemount end. Prettier and quieter than Ranelagh, but only a ten minute stroll away.

As for Malahide? Northsiders trying to be Southsiders!

What a sad and uneducated comment

I would say Clontarf or Sandymount personally - Both leafy quiet residential areas close to towns..

Ignorance is where there are none of the "sort of people you don't want"*.
    This is another stupid thread.

*tracksuit wearers, D4s, people I saw once from the bus/Daddy's car, etc.

Grew up in Milltown, school in Rathgar. Two of my favourite areas along with Ranelagh.

If I had to choose, Northside - Glasnevin. Southside - Ranelagh

It has to be Harolds Cross.

Its close to the city and the last violent incident in this area was in December 2007 when a psychiatric went psychiatric and stabbed an innocent man to death.

You could walk to the city and we live between Terenure, Rathgar and Rathmines with its fine pubs and restaurants.

When I win the Euromillions I will have trouble deciding buying my house in Orwell Road, Rathgar or one of the Rathdown's in Terenure.

Unlike another post you had this is right. The city generally ends at the canals, therefore Harolds Cross is just out of bounds.:pac:
