Lawn Repair Kit

Folks, would anyone know how i could source an old product from Aldi. A while back they did a special on a Lawn Repair Kit, which actually works. I have tried numerous kits over the past 12 months without much success, however this one really looks good.
Back garden is very tired looking and quite bare in places, however, the parts where I applied this kit have since shot up, however, now I need to get some more so as to treat other areas in the garden. Looking on the Aldi site and trawling through their archives, it's by a company called "Park" and on the box it says "Lawn Repair Package", coverage is 25 metres square. If anyone has any info on this it would br greatly appreciated.

Its just lawn seed and fertilizer. You can buy both separately and mix yourself.
Does it say on the box what grass seed mixture?

Afraid I don't have the box any more, just what I have seen on the web. What kind of fertilizer would you recommend, as i'm not too well up on these sort of things. Other repair kits I have used have just been seed coated in a fertilizer which has not been any use.

Problem with lawn repairs is that as there are so many lawn seed mixtures that you tend to get a piebald effect. You would probably be just as effective in applying fertiliser to improve whats there. Use one that is high in Nitrogen ( green leaf growth ) and is slow release because the rain will leech away the ordinary stuff.

http://pubs.caes.uga.edu/caespubs/pubcd/L376.htm is a very American explanation of lawn feeding and what the numbers on fertiliser represent (NPK).

Proper way is to do http://www.gardenplansireland.com/forum/about287.html
    or

One good thing with the current weather is that you will have no issues with burning the grass with too much fertiliser!

Thanks for that info, have got my hands on an empty carton of that kit I used, and the fertilizer is a 15-15-15 mix, so I might pop out to my local garden centre and see if can get my hands on something similar with a fast acting grass seed.
