SSF brief synopsis

As I suggested earlier in the year, I've set up an alternative Fantasy Football League to help raise money from the soccer forum for the SSF. This league has an added twist however, no team may contain players form the sides that finished in the top 4 of last season's PL.

That means no players from Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, or Arsenal!

If you have a FF team already you will need to register a 2nd time (players may only submit one team per unique registration unfortunately).

Entry fee is €20, half of which will be donated to the SSF and half will be awarded to the winner of the league. Alternatively you can pay €10 into the SSF only (but you will be exempt from winning the prize money)

Payment can be by cheque, paypal, bank transfer or cash (in person). I will pay the entry fee but will donate the winnings to the SSF if I top the league. PM me for payment details.

Rules

1. No players from last season's top 4 [ManU, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal]
2. The penalty for breach of rule 1 is a 15pt deduction per player per week regardless of whether they play or not.
3. If a player from your team is transferred to a top 4 side you will have one weeks grace to sell said player, i.e. if transferred in gameweek 22 you have until deadline for gameweek 23 to sell the player. For multiple transfers the same applies, only 1 weeks grace allowed in total. Rule 2 applies thereafter.

I will monitor the league every week and provide an updated league table as required.

It would be good if the soccer forum community could raise a few quid for a good cause like the SSF, so your entries would be appreciated.

Have sent a PM to DeVore today, he's not certain that the SSF will go ahead this Xmas so in the event that it does not, I'll donate the money raised to the National Children's Hospital in Tallaght.

I'll go in on this as well if there's a way for me to get the money over. I had awful trouble doing it for the Euro 2008 comp, although paypal did work well in the end.

1. There is, the thread is two threads below this one. It's a sticky.

2. To join this league you could choose not to compete for the prize money, and just give €10 towards the SSF.

Can anyone who has yet to pay the entry fee please do so by the start of gameweek 11 (Nov 1st) please, as I would like to arrange the donation to the SSF or to the Children's Hospital if the SSF does not go ahead before I head off to Vegas in mid-November (no I won't be spending the money!!!)
