Eircom and Thunderbird SMTP Settings

When setting up eircom in Thunderbird what are the smtp settings. Im using mail1.eircom.net with port 110. What settings do i use for security and authentication I keep getting this error: An error occurred sending mail: The mail server sent an incorrect greeting: +OK AVG POP3 Proxy Server

Looking at the Eircom site they say mail1.eircom.net, port 25, No secure connection, no username or password for SMTP.

110 for inbound mail (POP3), and 25 for outbound mail (SMTP) in most cases.
