Lanzarote or Fuertaventurs - any good for October diving?

Hi, I have a week off at the end of October & was thinking of using it to learn to dive. Are either Lanzarote or Fuertaventura good dive spots? Cheers, Tom

Have dived Lanzarote a few times, (suited me with the non-diving missus:D). Nice, easy diving & plenty to keep you going for a week. AFAIK most of the diving is in the Puerto Del Carmen area so plenty of accommodation & if you stay there virtually no travelling.
