Mum's '04 Passat was pranged by a bus last year and there was €3000 of damage (wasn't that bad but it was clipped on the front right corner so everything got shoved a little).

She had a rad hose pop off in traffic one day soon after. Weeks later, the fan fell off it's mounting.

She had the aircon re-gassed as part of the repairs which was long forgotten but last week it had to be re-gassed again. It never really worked after the re-gassing and now the aircon has no effect whatsoever. She brought it back to the FIAT/ Alfa/ Peugeot dealer where she bought it for a look and they found parts touching that shouldn't have been and the repair bill will be €700 for a "refridgeration pipe and a drain"(?).

What would you do if it was your money?

Consult the crowd who repaired it poorly?
