    Cost of clothes is just ridiculous and alot of the time the clothes are ridiculous too. I particularly find some of the stuff blokes have to wear pathetic, and therefore most end up in tracksuits!!
    Pizzas are also crazy money.
    Going to the cinema - 10 euro a ticket!!!
    even the toll bridges are madness- 2 euro for east link!!

    A girl I work with got dumped last week and she went out and spent
    $700 on a bag and $400 on shoes (down from $650) ... (I live in aus, so dunno what the euro is)
    and paid a image consultant $160 for 2 hours of 'advice' i.e. shopping & coffee

    so if Laura really is in this game, fair play to her :)

    Anyway Laura, after reading this thread from start to finish, I have to say you are probably the most shallow and superficial "woman" I have ever come across. You are like a walking sex in the city cliche, with your 500 quid shoes and french "volcanic" water (which by the way was probably poured from a tap somewhere in Kerry). Its exactly one of the reasons I hate Ireland today, and that is because most Irish women now seem to be getting what can only be called a "Beyonce Complex". Always the dearest shoes they can find, clothes and acccesories HAVE to be desinger handbags etc etc.

    All I'll say ladies, is enjoy throwing your money away while it lasts. In the end, you are all going to end up alone. Hopefully your Jimmy Choos and Louis Vuittons will keep you company then.[/rant]

    Anyway back on topic. The rpice of milk has gotten ridiculous at this stage. €2.79 for 2 fcukin litres of cow juice???

    salad - paid 12 euro once - for freggin lettuce!!!
    petrol
    car/house/pet insurance
    shampoo
    a decent hair cut
    gas - as in heating the house

    oh the best of all - paying the dept of transport to get you into work!!!!
    it should be free as you are paying tax imo
    cost over 100 a month for mthly ticket ffs
