Manually setting a lower speed on netopia routers??

    Guys, with the upgrades of 2Mb and 3Mb coming up, there are going to be a lot of people seeing the nasty side of RADSL on eircom phone lines for themselves.

    The routers seem to sync at a level which gives a signal margin of roughly 6dB from what I've seen.

    IMO this is too low for reliable use as the usual suspects of electrical noise (dodgy sparkplugs, thermostats etc) will easily eat into that. So is there a way to set a lower speed than the modem will normally max out at, or at least set the line to operate with a signal margin of 10 or 12dB??
