I love lullabies, probably my favourite. Haven't heard Era Vulgaris. Is it a step down?

Certainly not as dark as LTP anyway

Regards Nick not being there now, the songs aren't as heavy, and it isn't necessarily a bad thing. EV is quite groovy, rather than just heavy, as in SFTD.

Used to be a big Hanson fan. It crushed me when they totally sold out and went mainstream.

    Bastards.

Lullabies wasn't much to talk about but I really like Era Vulgaris. Like Mushy said, it's nice to have a bit of contrast in the albums. I love rocking out to their earlier stuff as much as any other QOTSA fan, but I think their new stuff is quite good too. I've had the new cd in my car for god knows how long and I'm still not sick of it.

I find LTP very under-appreciated by non-huge QOTSA fans. It has some songs that I feel stand up there with their best ones(Plaid, I Never Came, Wolf, Killer Scene). But yeah, EV is good, nice few pops at modern/celebrity life in there. Its different material than older songs, done well.

I still cant think of any bands that I really hate that I liked/loved years ago...I must be loyal.

Can't say i agree when Muse is concerned. They are by far one of the finest bands of their generation.

They have evolved with every album produced. Although i would admit to wanting to hear them go back to basics a la showbiz & Origin of Symmetry.

However, tracks like ''Knights of Cydonia'', ''City of Delusion'' and ''Assassin'' are feckn awesome!! :)

Greenday went to **** in the last few years.
I used to like (well I didnt dislike) U2 but not I can't stand them or any of their songs mainly because Bono is a sack.
