Nerd question - Favourite exhaust layout?

As time goes by, car manufacturers seem to expand the amount the styles that the exhausts come peeping out the back. Some new styles look a tad dodgy imho (like the Ferrari California http://www.zcars.com.au/images/ferrari-california21.jpg).

Do you guys see the exhausts as a major style thing, and whats your favourite layout?

    - 1 in the middle (Veyron, OPC)
    - 2 on the left (BMW e46 330i)
    - 2 in the middle (Cayman S)
    - 2 each side (E46 M3)
    - 1 each side (335i)
    - Out the side (Original hot seated Viper style)
    - 2 stacked each side (Ferrari California. Please say no)
    - Exhausts hidden

My vote - 335i, 1 each side.

I like the new Honda Civic style, I think it looks really tidy pic

Side exhausts can look cool, but really needs the right car to pull it off.

one each side does it for me ... like the Focus ST, A4 1.8T .. I can't understand why they didn't try that with the MKV GTI ... not as close together as the R32.

Mind you I love the M3/M5 with two on each side

"Vents to outside of vehicle" is my choice every time.

I would also appreciate if taller vehicles vented at the top, not kerbside.

I like the GT3 layout. Very tidy.

In the middle doesn't look right and the M cars halve always have them too close together. Nicest is twins, but out near the corners.

I like one each side also, but not the way bmw do it. they never recess the exhausts enough into the bumper imo, they just kind of hang below it looking wrong..

None. Not hidden, just none - No exhaust what so ever! Ah, the day will come..! :d

Until then, two on both sides, like the M5.
