Tax relief at source

    DOnt know if this is in the right forum but here goes:

    I have been living in my current house which i have a mortage on for the last 3 years and only realise that i wasn't getting tax relief at source

    So i sent off a form for TRS. and it is now been taken off my mortage every month ..

    Is there away of claiming back the tax i have already paid prior to fillin in the trs form ?????????

    You complete a tax return for those years.

    Yes,
    The Revenue TRS helpline is 1890 46 36 26 .
    I can't remember off hand which TRS form you need to fill out but they will tell you and can check your account details.
