Is it possible to use an aerial of some description in order to get a signal for mobile broadband?
A friend has a house thst in a dip so can't get good reception, move 50 yards up the road and the signal is perfect.

I am in the same boat unfortunately. Mobile signal for all providers is pretty crap all throughout the house. Can just about get Mobile broadband and phones working at the corner of the sitting room windowsill! and even at that the speeds are crap! :)

I currently use a 5meter USB extension cable so I can sit on the couch and connect! :)

Would the 'router in the attic' scenario actually work?
