    Whats the desktop ?
Is it from Ikea ? Looking to do something similar in my home office

Its a 1200mmx600mm Ikea Linnmon in white/oak with an Alex Drawer unit on one end.

Really nice desk for my small attic room.

That's a very clean set up! Nice work on the build.

Those Limmon are prone to bending if I'm thinking of the right one so you might need to run a support under it.

Yeah they are basically hollow. I used a smaller one for a good few years with no sag. I think its once you start to get into wider spacing between shelves or legs that you would be better off going with one of their solid table/work tops. That's why I have the wood block to spread the force of the monitor arm.

Is the white band/arm inside the case a decorative touch or does it serve a function? Cable management or something?

Its both. Mostly for show, and to cover the cutouts for cable management. Maybe in systems with more serious hardware it would cover up extra cables etc going to pumps or what not.

Ah, think I need to go for one of the solid worktops for mine
    Great build though

I got the EKBACKEN one. It's quite solid but it does bend slightly if I lean heavily on it. I have screwed the worktop to the drawers now though and seems to have helped.

There should be a photo earlier in the thread of it.

TARENDO - I'll shill it again because it's such a good deal for a small table.

I've a alcove in a small room that I've decided to go edge to edge. It's between the two diff lengths(203cm) so need to cut it to size, might get it done in the store

One thing that i didnt realise was the amount of cabling coming from the H100 block,it looks a bit messy. Also being 100% honest the back is rough, givin ive 4 drives and a PWM fan hub there is a LOT of SATA/DATA cables to route,a nice 1TB M.2 drive sounds like a likely future update, get rid of the 128GB ssd boot drive then and remove some cabling.

On the plus side, its silent at idle, like not even a whisper unless accessing one of the HDDs,no fans are set to come up to any meaningful speed till 50C,idles about 23C atm in a cold room:D

I have literally ordered the same stuff you have 2 days ago :D
But I did stretch out for some big sized m.2 drives to reduce on SATA's in use.

How do you find those beQuiet fans compared to the stock ones in the h500?

I didnt actually use the stock NZXT fans at all, just put the beQuiets in there straight away so cant compare. Ive got them nicely set up for the low end, still tweaking the high end for when the GPU heats up though.

Gigabytes BIOS is not great, feels unresponsive and setting the fan curve is a chore with it but im getting there!

I find the Fractal Design Celsius AIO's to be the best designed for cable management. They have fan headers on the rad so you can hook your fans straight into them. Keeps everything nice and clean.

Dell Vostro 200 mini tower still going strong after 11 years.

A few upgrades over the years:
    - Core 2 Duo E8600 3.33Ghz
    - 8G RAM
    - GeForce EN210 Silent graphics card
    - SSD
    - Reduced noise case and CPU fans
    - 1Gbps NIC
    - HDMI to a 40" Samsung TV
    - Windows 10

It's mainly just used to watch online content and play the odd older game.

Got my Phanteks P600S earlier and moved the system over to it.
Very happy with the results and it is whisper quiet.

Great looking case! The power cables to the GPU are particularly tidy

Cheers lads. I was all set to use my Corsair ML fans in it but the included Phanteks fans are even quieter. Was very surprised with that.
Temps are very good under load. It's a heavy mofo though when everything is in.

Tempered glass panels add some serious weight to a case.

There's a lot of sound dampening material on the side panel too.

Is that heavy? Never had a case that had some.

Would add a small bit. The panels are quite thick on the case. Way more so than the Meshify C i had. I think that's where most of it is coming from.

I need to try and get the 24pin sitting a bit better. The sliding covers there make it a bit tricky.
